The Senior Project OHS Advisor will be responsible for the coordination and administration of OH&S program activities and projects to support business objectives. Working with a team of OH&S Advisors, the incumbent will continuously monitor and support the improvement of OH&S performance through communication and implementation of corrective action for identified risks. The incumbent manages the implementation of company safety programs, policies, and procedures while partnering with stakeholders to ensure compliance and provide day-to-day leadership in the continued building of a strong culture of care. Provides honest, objective feedback to management regarding achievements and opportunities of safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Actively support preventative injury initiatives, focusing on SIF's (Serious Injury or Fatality).
  2. Provide leadership, coaching, teaching, and mentoring.
  3. Coordinate the Health and Safety Management System to meet company day-to-day safety policies and delivery of training activities for employees.
  4. Coordinate communications of occupational hazards and risks to both managers and the workforce.
  5. Assist with the design of standards, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
