Corporate PV Senior Scientist

Neuraxpharm is looking for a PV Senior Scientist based in Barcelona, Sant Joan Despi (hybrid role).

Your mission:

Corporate PV needs to extend its number of employees due to the complexity of Neuraxpharm PV System and the need to monitor safety profiles of Neuraxpharm medicinal products and comply with the overall company strategy. You will report to the Corporate PV Manager.

Your major accountabilities:

  1. Support safety management activities of all Neuraxpharm products.
  2. Carry out PV activities in line with current local and global PV requirements.
  3. Prepare, review and monitor PV contracts (national and international for the group).
  4. Coordinate the preparation and review of periodic safety reports and risk management plans.
  5. Monitoring and oversight of signal detection activities.
  6. Organise, create, and implement risk minimisation measures, including PV educational materials.
  7. Create standard operating procedures for the PV Department.
  8. Ensure that PV activities for the company sponsored clinical trials are in line with company SOPs and applicable regulations.
  9. Adhere to relevant Neuraxpharm PV Corporate SOP and local PV SOP, Working Instructions and templates.
  10. Participate in the preparation, execution and follow-up of PV audits and/or inspections.

We would like you to have:

  1. At least 5 years of experience within the pharmacovigilance disciplines in the pharmaceutical industry.
  2. Experience in PV related environments, preferably at local, regional and global levels.
  3. Experience in Local / Global safety regulations and standards (e.g. ICH, EU Regulation).
  4. Experience in Clinical Trial EU Regulation.
  5. Knowledge of legislation in force concerning pharmacovigilance.
  6. Advance level management of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Outlook.
  7. Bachelor or master’s degree in life sciences (Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology, Chemistry or similar). Specific training in pharmacovigilance.
  8. Fluent English. Knowledge of other European languages (Spanish, German, French) will be valuable.
  9. Availability to travel: 10%.
