At this moment, we are looking for a HR Generalist to join our international People department in Barcelona. If you meet the requirements and would like to revolutionize the world of coffee from a sustainable and positively impactful perspective, we would love to meet you!


TASKS TO PERFORM
  1. Contribute to the development of the human resources department:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Carry out strategic projects for the improvement of the department.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of projects and new procedures in the People area.
  • Manage the entire selection process for new GoodNews employees:
    • Manage hiring processes, from job postings to selection and hiring of new employees.
    • Prepare employment contracts, welcome documents, and other employment-related paperwork.
    • Job evaluation according to the collective agreement.
    • Legal watch on changes in labor laws and regulations, advising management and proposing necessary adjustments to HR policies and procedures in compliance with the law of the country.
  • Management of the Equality Plan.
  • Ongoing review of GoodNews internal policies and making modifications if required.
  • Daily operational HR tasks:
    • Contract changes.
    • Document management.
    • Timekeeping.
    • Payroll processing.
    • Cost reporting.
    • Address workers' labor inquiries.
    • Manage labor relations.
    REQUIREMENTS
    • Bachelor's degree in HR, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of previous experience in HR, preferably in the hospitality and/or retail sector.
    • Advanced level of English, both spoken and written.
    • Advanced level of French and/or Dutch is a plus.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team.
