Partner engineer is an L2 resource with knowledge on both End user computing and laptop/desktop hardware’s and L1 knowledge on server and network concepts or can co-ordinate be troubleshooting of net devices via call b. Partner will carry required PC toolkits for hardware repairs c. Partner will have proper identification along with oneself during their site visit d. Customer will provide USB sticks in case of OS / Application installations or data wipe e. All engineers would have native language skills plus English on communication level f. FTEs will accept and process the work instructions from Customer Program Manager. g. Any on-site engineers are the direct “face to the customer”. Their appearance shapes the end user opinion of the services provided. Therefore, Customer expects the provider to ensure that people playing this important role have at least the following set of technical and soft skills. Outstanding knowledge of the following: h. 4-5 year’s providing IT Infrastructure field support which includes troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system issues and problems and fixing the issues without impacting / violating the hardware warranty or customer security compliance requirements. i. Hands on experience in installing, troubleshooting, and fixing desktops, printers, laptop and other computer peripherals hardware problems. k. Basic knowledge of server and networking to perform smart hand activity under instruction-based activities at sites. l. Ability to lift / move computer equipment weighing up to 50Lbs. m. Good written and oral communications skills with clients and management. Good people skills. n. All Technicians will speak local language o. All onsite engineers will adhere to workplace health and safety policy and required trainings p. All engineers will adhere to workplace access control standard q. Ability to work with deadlines and complete tasks on-time. r. Supplier will provide VIP support (Customer Support+) at identified locations. s.
