JOB SUMMARY

As a member of the RTR team, this position provides assistance in treasury, cash management, journal entries, general ledger account reconciliation, related companies, taxes, period end closing and reporting, fixed assets and consolidation. Ensures that service levels are met according to defined timelines and expected quality.

Scope

Treasury, cash management, journal entries, accruals, general ledger account reconciliation, variance analysis, related companies, taxes, period end closing and reporting, fixed assets and consolidation.

Expected Contributions
  1. Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  2. Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, recording and reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies.
  3. Processes Accruals, Reversal of Accruals and Monthly Standard Journal Entries.
  4. Prepares GL Reconciliation, including timely follow-ups to ensure settlement of reconciling items.
  5. Responsible for the preparation and review of financial accounting analysis and journal entries to properly recognize the actual results of GL operations.
  6. Analyzes transactions, understands and explains variances and proactively identifies potential problems and solutions.
  7. Monthly analysis of all balance sheet accounts, including review of account reconciliations prepared and entered by shared financial service.
  8. Monthly confirmation of all Intercompany balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  9. Performs month-end closing activities in compliance with deadlines agreed with the client.
CANDIDATE PROFILE Experience

0-2 years of experience in BPS F&A processes.
Experience in RTR Monthly Closing and Reporting Activities.
Experience in document creation and maintenance.
Advantageous knowledge of the retail industry.

Education or Certification

Graduate/Post Graduate

Knowledge and Skills
  1. Accounting knowledge; month-end closing procedures a plus.
  2. Knowledge and understanding of financial accounting principles.
  3. Experience with business ERP (e.g., SAP or similar accounting software) is a plus.
  4. Ability to use Office package (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  5. Ability to think analytically to perform good data analysis.
  6. Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask with minimal supervision.
  7. Analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  8. Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
  9. Ability to communicate and cooperate with diverse groups of people.
  10. Ability to work under pressure.
  11. Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  12. Knowledge of basic English structure and content; B1/B2 level of English is required.
