Description: General Information As R&D Engineer, you will join our South Europe Technology Center, an organization leading continuous research and development activities on transformers. Specifically, you will be part of the R&D Team in Zaragoza (Spain), and you will contribute to the development of projects related to the mechanical performance of dry transformers and contribute to the successful roadmap execution.

Your responsibilities:
  1. Propose and execute standardization projects to cover factories along all the globe
  2. Analyze current design and processes of all factories and propose new ideas to improve productivity by introducing new technologies
  3. Understand the impact brought by changes, assess their implications and introduce these changes into global technical, material and/or production standards
  4. Cooperate closely with technical experts from all factories to solve technical gaps
  5. Keeping track of changes with rationale, following workflows while publishing documents and use of document management system and repositories
  6. Introduce and track KPIs to monitor introduction of changes
  7. Organize training for design engineers and prepare training materials
  8. Provide punctual technical support to factories, salespeople, and customers

Your background:

BSc or MSc in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and at least 5 years’ experience in dry-type transformer technologies. Ability to use external (IEC, IEEE, …) and internal standards and regulations. Understanding technical documentation and drawings. Ability to make technical judgements in a field of expertise. Knowledge of 3D modelling (will be a plus). Familiar with document management systems (will be a plus). Team working attitude, solution-oriented approach, and strong communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
