Job Description
What you'll do
We are looking for a Waiter/Waitress to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Food & Beverage supervisor, you'll be preparing drinks exactly as our guests want or serving them delicious food, devoted to creating relaxing, memorable experiences.

  1. Support the team with the Food & Beverage operations.
  2. Be the face of our guests' experience, ensuring they have a great time from arrival to departure.
  3. Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere for guests to unwind.
  4. Work with the team to keep operations running smoothly and tidily.
  5. Describe drinks and menu items to guests, offering interesting and vivid descriptions.
  6. Set up your outlet by stocking supplies and managing inventory.
  7. Ensure food and beverages are well-stocked and maintain overall cleanliness.
  8. Assist with ad-hoc duties as needed, including serving other outlets.
  9. Collaborate with restaurant and kitchen colleagues for seamless service.
  10. Comply with departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
  11. Anticipate guests' needs with attentive and intuitive service.
  12. Assess customers' needs and preferences, making recommendations.
  13. Address dissatisfied guests appropriately to ensure satisfaction.
  14. Accurately close guest checks, process payments, and handle voided checks or complimentary items.
  15. Comply with safety and HACCP standards.

Qualifications
What we are looking for...
+2 years of experience in hospitality within food & beverage.
Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management valuable.
Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English.
