Trial Technician

Reporting To Team Lead External Trials / (Senior) Product Specialist / (Senior) Breeder / Station Manager Purpose Crop care at external trial location and collection of trial data of breeding and/or screening trials.Geographical Scope 1 countryOperational Level OperationalKey Accountabilities Sowing, young plant raising and planting of external trials. Care and treatment of crops at the external trial location. Harvesting of seeds and fruits. Collection and administration of trial data on a limited number of pre-defined plant or fruit traits, and timely reporting thereof. Responsible for following the relevant protocols of the 3rd parties in order to guarantee local quality and phytosanitary compliance of the trials. May be responsible for the planning of assigned trials in the different locations. Main Contacts - Internal Breeding teams - Obtain seeds for external trials. Exchange information, obtain instructions with regards to collection of trial data, report trial data, trial evaluations.
