Some responsibilities of the Trader Assistant - Galicia are:
  • Be part of a well-experienced team, with a versatility mindset & full alignment with the Sales Department.
  • Standardize all plants' requirements for loading for the 3 plants and create a database of the customer logistic requirements.
  • Negotiate the freight cost to customers in coordination with the Sales Manager to have a minimum of 3 freight competitive offers for our customer portfolio.
  • Centralize all call-offs/complaints from the 3 plants (Barcelona / Cartagena / Bilbao) to work efficiently on a central basis.
  • Accommodate call-offs per each of the plants according to the refineries planning.
  • Forecast the monthly needs aligned to the refinery utilization and sales program forecast.
  • Customer pricing & contract management: accountable for the execution of the contracts, pushing sales responsible to monitor backlogs and financing charges.
  • Follow up on receivables to keep track of the performance of our Working Capital and implement all financial tools in place to improve our KPI’s (ROIG).
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards continuous improvement/learning.
  • Knowledgeable of the current systems to automate flows and get the best info throughout the existing ERP (SAP).
We are looking for different skills in our ideal candidate:
  • Approximately 5 years of working experience.
  • University degree in business or another related field.
  • Skilled in decision-making & negotiation.
  • Fluent in Spanish & English; other languages (French & Catalan) will be a plus.
  • Customer focus, teamwork, entrepreneurship, results orientation, independence, ability to make decisions & influence others.
