CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Hotel Marketing and Advertising:

  1. Plan the execution and development of regular activities and monthly events according with the Marketing Plan and be present during the activations (Weekends/afternoons/nights) when needed.
  2. Provide and execute creative ideas to leverage revenue generation opportunities and brand awareness of W Ibiza.
  3. Partner with Operations, Food & Beverage, Sales, Finance, and revenue teams to execute promotions and campaigns targeting in-house guests and transients with promotions that drive incremental revenue to the hotel.
  4. Act as the liaison between the marketing department and advertising agency on tactical advertising campaigns' creative and media plans.
  5. Coordinate the implementation of all brand packages and practices including special events and promotional opportunities at property level in collaboration with Revenue Management.
  6. Act as marketing channel for information regarding the property’s specific need periods and coordinate information regarding the property’s seasonality and opportunities.
  7. Develop and execute email marketing.
  8. Maintain frequent, active engagement with Digital Field Marketing team to verify alignment, pull-through, and 2-way communication about the status, performance evaluation, opportunities, and issues related to online programs and initiatives.
  9. Verify all advertising for the hotel in digital channels is in alignment with brand voice.
  10. Ensure that W Ibiza and its communication are compliant with all brand standards.
  11. Build and maintain ongoing partnerships and sponsors generation plan to leverage all marketing activations.

Social Media Content:

  1. Act as ahead of the pack in social media activity, initiatives, and exposure.
  2. Facilitate social media engagement and update content in local digital channels.
  3. Develop and execute promotions campaigns plans for F&B, rooms, spa, and meetings through relevant digital and social media channels.
  4. Engage in proactive online reputation management by surfacing relevant guest comments (positive or negative) in social media channels and respond accordingly.
  5. Manage and ensure fluid communication with advertisement agencies to achieve all social media goals.
  6. Partner with interesting influencers in alignment with the W brand to leverage awareness and engagement.
  7. Coordinate all communications internally for influencer visits at the hotel, ensuring an organized and successful partnership by aligning all involved departments.
  8. Have schedule flexibility to welcome influencers at different timings (Weekends/afternoons) when needed.
  9. Have schedule flexibility to support hotel photo-shootings & content creation for regular activities and monthly events (weekends/afternoons) when needed.

General:

  1. Assist the development, coordination, and execution of all Marketing activities.
  2. Support communications duties and functions as deemed necessary.
  3. Assist in the liaison and execution of joint F&B/Rooms/Spa promotions.
  4. Work with Field Marketing to verify the Hotel’s website and related websites are updated on a regular basis.
  5. Partner with Director of Marketing to create a marketing plan aligned with hotel sales and revenue strategy.
  6. Assist Director of Marketing in providing training and marketing leadership to the marketing team & trainees.
  7. Coordinate with property and above property Field Marketing and Revenue Management teams to report success of property marketing and eCommerce performance.
  8. Keep abreast of competition and its collateral, advertising, and marketing efforts and constantly evolving digital and marketing trends.
  9. Assist the Marketing Director with any other matter of relevance for the Marketing Department's success.
  10. Coordinate and execute Hotel printed materials.
  11. Control quantity and inventory of all Hotel marketing collateral and verify copies are filed in a comprehensive manner.
  12. Assist in the production of all property, F&B display, and temporary signage in hotel public areas.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education And Experience:

  1. Degree or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related major.
  2. 1-2 years experience in sales, marketing, digital or related professional area; hospitality marketing or digital advertising experience preferred.
  3. Fluent in English and Spanish is a must.
