Purpose This role is responsible for maintaining the service-level agreement critical production platforms or products and providing automated operations to ensure the service to our clients is always of the best quality.Our vision is that, at IDEMIA, we power the world’s experiences through trusted connections across people, organizations, and governments.Today, digital is becoming all the more important to all our customers. Key Missions Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health. Recover platforms during production incidents to meet targeted SLAs; perform detailed root cause analysis to prevent regressions. Troubleshoot, evaluate and resolve operational challenges and support escalation. Maintain platforms after go live by measuring and monitoring their availability, performance, and overall system health. Document Knowledge. Scale systems through automation, improving change velocity and reliability. Take responsibility for platform availability, performance, and overall system health; manage platform’s errorbudget. Provide technical expertise on IDEMIA products and support processes to internal and external customers. Profile & Other Information To succeed in this position, you will need the following skills / experience: Technical Capabilities Minimum of 5 years experience using Linux as the main platform on a daily basis. Minimum of 2 years experience of being in a Technical Support Role (Level 2 or Level 3). Experience in using different VPN Clients to connect to various Customer premises via SSH. Experience in creating bash scripts to automate tasks in Linux. Experience in troubleshooting Linux Servers (CPU, Memory, Disk Space Management, System Log Analysis). Competent in troubleshooting Networking problems (Firewall rules, IP routes, VPN connection). Competent in managing MySQL Databases (performing backups, retrieving data, inserting data, debugging performance problems). Nice to Haves Knowledge / Experience Docker. Pacemaker. Kubernetes. Ansible. Azure or AWS. Python. MySQL InnoDB Cluster. Git / Bitbucket. Microservices Architecture. Java. Server / Application Deployment to Production. HTTPS / Certificates.
