Senior Sales Executive

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive to spearhead our business development efforts within the dynamic landscape of the bank and non-bank financial services industry, with a particular focus on Spain.

Your core responsibility will involve identifying, establishing, and nurturing relationships with senior decision-makers across a carefully curated list of target accounts within Spain.

Your mandate will extend to crafting, implementing, and meticulously monitoring comprehensive plans and strategies geared towards securing new business and surpassing our company’s ambitious sales targets.

You will adhere to the Provenir sales and delivery process, thereby orchestrating effective sales campaigns and initiatives aimed at not only expanding our customer base but also fostering substantial growth in monthly recurring revenue.

The successful candidate will be based in Spain, ideally situated in the vibrant city of Madrid.

What You’ll Do

  1. Define, execute and manage client go to market engagement.
  2. Undertake client discovery to establish key organisational goals and win themes.
  3. Develop and manage an effective pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  4. Manage sometimes complex 9-12 month sales cycles.
  5. Develop and nurture relationships with key client stakeholders.
  6. Negotiate enterprise level contractual agreements.
  7. Close Business.
  8. Support Client and Account Management to delivery.
  9. Maintain accurate and timely sale cadence reports to support accurate regional business forecasting.

Qualifications, Strengths and Skills

  1. A minimum of seven years’ experience solution selling into, or within the domain of enterprise technology.
  2. A minimum of five years working within the financial services industry specifically credit risk decisioning across the customer lifecycle.
  3. Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience in discovery lead sales.
  4. Experience mapping key organisational stakeholders and goals.
  5. Demonstrable ability to engage with and manage C-level relationships.
  6. Experience in cloud hosted technology solutions.
  7. Working knowledge of BPM, CRM, Case Management Software, or enterprise-wide specific solutions within a vertical market.
  8. Thrives in an accountable sales culture.
  9. Organized and effective communication.
  10. Ability to understand complex business problems and provide simplified solutions.
  11. Experience in advanced sales questioning and sales methodologies.
  12. Self-motivated.
  13. Team player.
  14. Ability to consult to a range of multi-cultural banks and non-bank financial institutions.
  15. Consistent track record of achieving and/or exceeding sales targets.
  16. Fluent in Spanish and English, other major European languages a bonus.
