Position Overview
Detailed job functions :
- Integrate digital advanced in-vehicle communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay, BroadR-Reach, Gigabit Ehternet) with latest 32-bit microcontroller architectures (ARM, TriCore)
- Participate in the product HW and system architecture concept by defining key product strategies (low power modes, safety functions) and critical component selection (MCU, System Basis Chip, Power Supply, Actuators)
- Analyze and manage project requirements with IBM Rational DOORS tool.
- Understand circuit requirements and system architecture to select preferred components and release detailed schematic design with powerful and advanced CAD tools
- Deliver an accurate and robust design using innovative industry simulation tools PSpice, MathCAD, Hyperlinx, AMS
- Lead technical communication with customer, other engineering areas, program management, suppliers and quality teams
- Understand Functional Safety workproducts and impact in HW design according ISO26262
- Understand EMC design concepts and their impact with OEM EMC specification compliance. Review EMC results and PCB layout reviews for robust design
Requirements : Bachelor, equivalent technical degree or equivalent experience.
Requires 5+ years experience.
Fluent in English and Spanish
Experience in Test and Developement.
