For our business, for clients, and for you.Senior Fund Accountant Location: Valencia, Spain Description Apex Group is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant, reporting to a Manager within Apex, to have responsibility for the preparation of accurate portfolio valuations on a timely basis. This is a full-time role that comes with a favourable salary and benefits package. Job Specification To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do: Work with the assistant manager, manager and director to ensure the planning, coordination and completion of NAVs, management reporting and statutory reporting of corporate entities. Assist with the supervision and mentoring of several trainee fund accountants. Liaise with fund managers, brokers, and custodians to communicate information and resolve issues promptly. Ensure that client responsibilities are managed effectively and to the agreed client, best practice, regulatory and statutory deadlines. Skills Required To apply for this Senior Fund Accountant role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include: Eligibility to register as a CA(SA). Proficiency in MS Excel. Structural and detail-oriented. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
