Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in petrochemical projects. This role involves reviewing rotating equipment datasheets and supporting documentation, participating in technical clarification meetings with vendors, and designing cost-effective equipment modifications to enhance safety, reliability, and throughput.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review & Documentation:
   • Review rotating equipment datasheets and supporting documentation.
   • Participate in technical clarification meetings with vendors.
2. Design & Implementation:
   • Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to improve safety, reliability, and throughput.
   • Develop project specifications in collaboration with colleagues from other engineering disciplines.
   • Develop, test, and evaluate theoretical designs.
3. Problem Solving & Collaboration:
   • Discuss and resolve complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers, and customers.
   • Plan and design new production processes.
4. Project Management:
   • Manage projects using engineering principles and techniques.
   • Produce detailed specifications and outline designs.
   • Recommend modifications based on prototype test results.
5. Research & Analysis:
   • Utilize research, analytical, conceptual, and planning skills, including mathematical modeling and computer-aided design.
   • Consider cost, safety, and time constraints in all engineering solutions.
6. Monitoring & Commissioning:
   • Monitor and commission plant systems and processes.

Educational & Technical Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience: 10-15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on petrochemical projects.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office and other relevant engineering software. Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
