TRADE AND DISTRIBUTION FUNCTIONS

Provides professional Human Resources knowledge, skill, and service to the retail organization. Works with store management to analyze business and human resources needs and implements effective solutions.

Provides expertise in HR-related areas (employee relations, hiring, training, compensation & payroll). Decisions are guided by functional strategies and priorities and led by the geography and global HR retail teams.

Applies HR Retail expertise to support operational performance across different stores. Advises on the resolution of employee relations, hiring decisions, and compensation programs, payroll, and administration.

Works with retail training to develop and deliver functional training to the store staff. Is accountable for delivering HR support to stores, store managers, and all employees.

Gives input to the HR Retail team at the geography to support identifying best programs and tools to support store teams' performance and business results. Ensures actions protect the company image and limit risks.

Decisions and actions on employee relations and employer branding impacting company image require management oversight and are constrained by policies and senior management approval.

Executes functional business plans and contributes to the development of functional strategies. Supports the execution of retail training plans through the retail training personnel reporting to him/her.

Requirements:
  1. HR/employee relations with a minimum of 4 years of directly relevant experience; experience should include comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or industry expert.
  2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in managing HR in the retail business (needs to have experience in labor relations, performance management, compensation, recruitment, and personnel administration).
  3. Mandatory experience in HR retail Manager role for a minimum of 2 years.
  4. Availability to travel.
