Summary - Basic Function Of The Role The key function is directly responsible for implementing, actioning, reporting on & continually improving all aspects of the quality assurance system / quality control activities conducted within the Northern Europe Region and at the suppliers to the regions facilities. Job Duties And Responsibilities - Responsible to ensure that continuous improvement is made in all Key Performance Indicators (e.g.: scrap / rejects, RFT, customer issues and Warranty). - Responsible for compiling & submitting KPIs on a regular basis. - Ensuring that both externally and / or internally identified quality issues are resolved using effective problem solving methods within defined timescales and the system used to record and track them is maintained at all times. - Maintenance and development of the organizations corrective action process in conjunction with the organizations other safety professionals. - Undertake internal audits as directed and documented within the annual audit plan. - Responsible for drafting, maintaining & controlling of all on-site quality documentation (Control Plans, Customer required documentation packages, etc.) and ensure compliance with external auditors. - Perform job functions in accordance with set policies and procedures to ensure preservation of the Company Quality Policy. - Support the comprehensive continuous improvement philosophy for all Enerpac disciplines. - Establishment, development and implementation of a robust and efficient companywide traceability system (forwards/backwards). - Functional staff development/training/coaching/support etc. - Involvement in supplier selection/assessment activities (process based) as support to Purchasing or Procurement Continuous Improvement function. - Ensure all Quality rules and regulations are communicated and enforced throughout the Plant. Proactively participate on quality awareness and improvement. - Represent Enerpac professionally, both internally and externally. To follow the published processes and comply with all company policies and procedures. Be an ambassador for the business in particular ensure that Health & Safety always comes first. Skills And Competencies - Able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and written. - Assertive, resilient and welcomes change. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Be an effective team member, working with supervisor and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output. Education And Experience - Experience working in a similar role or as a Mechanical Engineer. - Experience in key quality techniques, particularly root cause analysis methods. - Competent and trained in auditing quality system procedures. - Experienced in compiling & submitting initial sample inspection reports (ISIR’s).
