Lead Mechanical Engineer will oversee the integration of various engineering disciplines into unified solutions for our projects. This leadership role requires deep technical expertise, advanced project management skills, and a commitment to ensuring design and construction compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design: Coordinate and integrate designs from internal and external sources using CAD systems. Conduct calculations and formulate detailed technical specifications. Validate designs against compliance with manufacturing standards and industry regulations.
  2. Guidance and Support: Serve as the primary technical liaison for project scope discussions with sales, clients, and production teams. Provide onsite support during assembly and installation, ensuring adherence to technical specifications.
  3. Project and Information Management: Oversee the technical coordination among various engineering teams and manage project documentation. Maintain rigorous management of project information, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  4. Reporting and Compliance: Manage and evaluate project timelines and budgets, addressing any variances proactively. Uphold strict compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  5. Communication: Regularly communicate with project stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and meet project deliverables. Negotiate and discuss technical elements with clients and suppliers, ensuring specifications and requirements are met.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Education: Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  2. Experience: Extensive experience in industries such as Water Treatment, Oil & Gas, Food & Pharma, or the Chemical sector.
  3. Skills: Expertise in English and technical communication. Advanced knowledge of engineering science and design principles. Strong leadership capabilities and ability to manage multiple project aspects with minimal supervision.
  4. Certifications: Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  5. Competencies: Advanced problem-solving skills and proactive management style. Prioritization of health, safety, and environmental standards in all project activities. Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure. Willingness for occasional global travel to engineering sites and client locations.
