DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Documents medical treatment given, determines additional need for care not available, receives telephone or radio request for ambulance service/emergency medical service.

Checks vital signs, performs emergency treatment, such as prepping patients for transportation, immobilizing fractures, etc. Documents medical treatment given, determines additional need for care not available, receives telephone or radio request for ambulance service/emergency medical service. Conducts follow-up task, receives and distributes equipment, ensures available equipment is well maintained in correct quantities and correctly stored.

Supervises ambulance driver’s tasks. Conducts the following administrative duties: ambulance run incident log, accident reports, work reports, etc. While on shift, cannot leave position until relieved by a colleague of the same professional category except in the case of emergency evacuation of a patient to a medical institution.

Pre-hospital emergency care in an ambulance and remote areas.

Movement and transportation of injured/ill personnel from Morón Air Base to local area hospitals

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS : Preferred :

• Ability to understand and speak English

Qualifications :

• Possess a current Spanish nursing license (University Diploma of Nursing [DUE]).
• Minimum six months experience within the past twelve months in pre-hospital emergency medical care.
