We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Senior Design Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, testing, documentation, migration, deployment, and transition of solutions using the front-end BI tool Power BI, ensuring that delivery is according to defined business requirements and project timelines and milestones. Your key responsibilities: Responsible for development, unit-testing, documentation, migration, and deployment/transition of solutions using Front End BI tool Power BI as per defined business requirements and project timelines/milestones. Translate business requirements into functional/technical design specifications consistent with best practices and delivery of sustainable solutions. Work closely with the BI Architecture Team to understand architecture/design principles/guidelines for design and build reviews of the design specifications and development as per architecture/design guidelines and standards. Collaborate with the BI COE Team to understand requirements, data flow diagrams (high-level design), and functional designs to build BW solutions. Participate actively in different development test cycles by providing support for defect resolutions and cutover/go-live support activities. Qualifications: Total 8 - 12 years of experience in design and development of front-end reporting tools, primarily Power BI dashboards. Strong front-end technical expertise and experience in implementation of Power BI dashboards for at least 3 large-scale BI implementations. Proven experience in developing reports, data sets, queries, dashboards, visualizations, data models, and custom scripts in Power BI. Excellent experience in developing dashboards with Power BI direct and import connections using SAP BW, SAP HANA, SharePoint, Planview, SQL, Azure, Databricks, and other data sources. Extensive experience building dashboards on top of Databricks. Strong knowledge and experience of Python, Pyspark, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric. Strong knowledge and experience of implementing security in Power BI solutions. Good experience and understanding of Power BI/Fabric licensing models. Expert in publishing reports to Power BI Service and setting up necessary connection details and scheduling. Good to have knowledge in PowerApps, Power BI embedded, and Power Automate. Understanding of new capabilities with all BI front-end and back-end tools is preferred. Detail-oriented, hands-on, results and achievement-oriented, assertive, and initiative-driven in driving projects to completion.
