Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to develop sales with top trade partners in a defined scope identifying opportunities to generate additional revenue. The Sales Area Coordinator has also a key role in supporting the Commercial strategy driving sales to enriched content and lower costs channels.

Main Accountabilities

The Sales Area Coordinator UK/ROW will be accountable for:

  • Increasing revenue and generating any incremental sales through innovative initiatives.
  • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with key clients that bring in the most income for the company.
  • Participating in onboarding new partners to online channels (B2B/API/NCD).

Main Responsibilities - Tasks

  • Management of a portfolio of a trade partners in a defined area.
  • Analyse data performance and take relevant corrective or stimulating actions to boost sales and generate additional revenue.
  • Negotiate and manage allotments contracts with TTOO.
  • Feed RMP and Network with markets trends data and partner’s feedback.
  • Encourage partners to adopt low-cost channels and value the advantages of online channels.
  • Ensure a smooth cooperation with Distribution, Alliances, Marketing and Customer Services.
  • Promote Vueling products toward travel agencies and provide them any materials they would need to properly sell them.

Main Relationships

The Sales Area Coordinator will be working closely:

  • Internally with Sales teams, Distribution, Sales processes and effectiveness, Alliances, RMP, Network, Customer Services.
  • Externally with partners (agencies, OTAs, TTOOs, airports etc.)

Education

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Economics, Sales or Tourism.

Experience

  • Experience of at least 3 years in airlines or in an agency (proven experience in key account management required)

  • English: C1
  • Spanish: fluent
  • Italian, French or German is a plus
