About the role

Brite is looking for an inspiring and business-driven People Director. The role is a key position within Brite, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the management team. The People Director is responsible for developing and driving the people agenda, being a key partner to the executive team. You will lead a growing People team of four with the primary aim of contributing proactively to Brite's vision creating business value through effective employer branding, talent acquisition, people experiences, operations, and organisational management.

You will shape and enhance our people agenda contributing to a seamless employee experience. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to our fast-paced growth and international expansion. Responsibilities

  • Take the people strategy at Brite to the next level, including full ownership of all matters, while working with the management team towards our vision for fast but sustainable organisational growth.
  • Build a strong employer brand and develop effective strategies to attract diverse, highly qualified candidates.
  • Empower our people and leaders. Develop our culture, values, behaviours, and trainings with clear expectations, to ensure high-performing teams and engagement.
  • Boost engagement, well-being, and recognition within Brite.
  • Ensure we have the right tools to support the organisation's growth, focusing on people-operations, payroll management with outsourcing partners, and the utilisation of automated workflows, and people analytics.
  • Ensure compliance across the organisation with relevant labour laws and regulations.
  • Develop and update people policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legal requirements.
  • Drive the yearly people cycle through activities such as growth talks, salary reviews, employee surveys, and work environment.

Ideal candidate profile

  • Experienced customer- and growth-oriented people leader with a proven track record in building and leading people organisations in tech or other fast-growing businesses with an international footprint.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Highly collaborative team player with positive energy and a strong can-do attitude.
  • An operational mindset is essential, as the role involves hands-on tasks as well as strategic responsibilities.
  • Expertise in core organisational aspects such as workforce planning, organisational design, talent management, leadership, learning, and development.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR-related measures at an international/European level is highly meritorious.
  • Tech-savvy, data insights, and interested in using automation and generative AI to free time to work on the matters that help create value.
  • Fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
  • Finally, as an individual, you have high intrinsic motivation and identify working in a challenger environment, you have strong entrepreneurial drive and business acumen, and will not shy away from laying the rails while rolling on them.
