Product Owner Network Automation

We are looking for a qualified Network Automation Product Manager to support our department Connectivity Services, the best enabler of Airbus competitiveness. A s a Network Automation product manager, you will define the strategy, be the transnational interface with given connectivity products, and be accountable for the end to end product lifecycle, from conception, design, industrialization, operation and retirement. As a leader of a multifunctional team, you are directly in contact with our connectivity team, our technical experts and our operation specialists on several perimeters. NetDevOps experience is a plus but is not mandatory. Your work will contribute on a transnational level and you will have resources and budget responsibility for your product with associated Capex and Opex budget. "

Your location

You will be located on the largest site in Spain for aircraft production in Getafe, with access to a Cercanias railway station and a shuttle availability to many areas of Madrid. You will benefit also of a hybrid working culture in a multinational team.

Your tasks and responsibilities :

• You will lead the IT Product Multifunctional Team (MFT) in order to manage the IT Product lifecycle by developing the products to meet and improve operational Service Level Agreements.
• You will measure customer satisfaction and care about the definition and go-to-market of the product and service.
• You will ensure that the known product vision is translated into a prioritised product backlog in alignment with the business product owner.
• Strongly contributes to the transformation of Airbus IT, by influencing culture change and establishing new ways of working.Advise and deliver automation or development use cases.
• You will be able to translate networking requirements for automation into an operational solution.
• Coordination of Level 3 resolution of major operational and service problems, manage all related network automation crisis cells.
• Continuously optimize the performance of Network automation environments whilst in operation.
• Ensure Network Cybersecurity and integrity in accordance with Airbus Security Policy.
• Work with automation & software development teams to proactively assess risk, fix security issues, and provide policy guidance
• Develop new ways of automation for identification, remediation, and validation of security rules and issues.
• Deploying highly available, scalable, maintainable, monitored solutions
• Developing, updating and using automation pipelines to allow fully automated deployments of use cases across all connectivity environments.

Desired skills and qualifications

• You hold a degree in IT, Telecom, Engineering, or a similar field and have several years of relevant work experience.

• You have solid professional experience in project management as well as in IT.

• You have the ability to synthesize, structure and vulgarize highly technical topics.

• Ideally, you bring knowledge in agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, Jira ).

• You have good stakeholder management skills and interpersonal communication skills and like to work in a transnational environment.

• If you have experience in some of the following will be considered a plus:

• Designing and implementing serverless architectures, APIs, RESTful Web-services and SOAP-based Web-services, spècially in AWS technologies (Lambda, Step Functions)

• Programming language (ie: Python, Javascript, etc)

• Background in Networking Technologies (Routing, Switching, Firewalls..)

• Any knowledge in the following stack will be considered:

• Git

• Python

• Interactions with Restful APIs

• CI/CD implementation (i.e. Jenkins)

• Serverless Framework

• Django Framework

• Ansible / Ansible Tower (AWX)

• HashiCorp Vault

• Firewall rule automation (Tufin)

• Compliance network operation and security (restorepoint )

• Network CMDB / IPAM (Netbox / Infoblox)

• You are fluent in English as you will work with transnational teams. Any other language is a plus.

In this position, you will be exposed internationally. Therefore, a willingness to travel (Europe mainly, also possible in US, China, India, Dubai,) is required
