The Procurement Engineer is responsible in carrying out procurement functions aligned with company guidelines, policies, and procedures. The Procurement Engineer is responsible in carrying out procurement functions aligned with company guidelines, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Creates and implements category plans and strategies for different projects within the agreed timelines;Manages the creation, execution, and analysis of contracts to maximize financial and operational performance while minimizing risks;Handles the bidding process from sourcing vendors, facilitating negotiations, reviewing offers, to releasing purchase orders;Performs overall contract/document and vendor management;Performs market research and analysis of vendors, market condition, industry trends, and competitive price level of service for the continuous improvement of supply chain services and processesQualifications:Must be a licensed Electrical, Electronics, Civil, or Mechanical EngineerWith at least two (2) years supply chain/procurement experienceAble to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problemsAble to determine the best deals for the company by evaluating pros and cons based on factors such as price, quality, and speed of deliveryHas demonstrated skill in creating and maintaining databases and working with spreadsheets and complex modelsHas strong negotiating and interpersonal skills with a high sense of integrity and good moral characterAmenable to travel when necessaryWork rightsThe opportunity is available to applicants in any of the following categories. #J-18808-Ljbffr
