Job Title: Rotating Equipment Engineer Location: Madrid, Spain Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in petrochemical projects. This role involves reviewing rotating equipment datasheets and supporting documentation, participating in technical clarification meetings with vendors, and designing cost-effective equipment modifications to enhance safety, reliability, and throughput. Key Responsibilities: Review & Documentation: Review rotating equipment datasheets and supporting documentation. Participate in technical clarification meetings with vendors. Design & Implementation: Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to improve safety, reliability, and throughput. Develop project specifications in collaboration with colleagues from other engineering disciplines. Develop, test, and evaluate theoretical designs. Problem Solving & Collaboration: Discuss and resolve complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers, and customers. Plan and design new production processes. Project Management: Manage projects using engineering principles and techniques. Produce detailed specifications and outline designs. Recommend modifications based on prototype test results. Research & Analysis: Utilize research, analytical, conceptual, and planning skills, including mathematical modeling and computer-aided design. Consider cost, safety, and time constraints in all engineering solutions. Monitoring & Commissioning: Monitor and commission plant systems and processes. Educational & Technical Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Experience: 10-15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on petrochemical projects. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office and other relevant engineering software. Strong command of English, both written and verbal. Competencies: Planning & Organization: Ability to plan and organize tasks effectively.
