Backend Senior Developer

We are looking for a senior software developer to develop new features and improve the scalability and performance of our communications products unified for operators, contact centers, and large corporations. What are we looking for Our products are used in high load environments and critical services, so it is important that you have at least six years of experience developing similar applications and have faced scalability, performance, latency, connectivity, etc. in telco or similar environments. The main programming language we use is Typescript with NodeJS, which is an essential requirement. We also have code in Elixir, so it would be ideal if you have knowledge of this or at least the willingness to learn it. We build our products using Linux microservices, REST APIs, Websocket, and open-source technology such as RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Grafana, or Opentelemetry, so it is important that you have experience working with these solutions in production environments. We assume that you are comfortable with GIT and that you have products deployed with Docker Compose and, ideally, with Kubernetes. One more thing Our products are not isolated but live in interconnected environments with multiple client platforms, so it would be ideal if you have experience with real-time communications protocols (SIP, RTP, SDP, WebRTC, XMPP, etc.) as well as in TCP/IP networking. Working at Quobis The development team consists of backend developers, devops, and applications. We use Jira for task management and Gitlab for repository management and CI/CD. We place a lot of emphasis on the quality of our code through good practices; concepts such as TDD, pair programming, or design patterns are common in our everyday conversations. What we offer? Salary range between €30,000 – €50,000 gross per year, depending on experience. Additional annual bonus according to company benefits. Flexible schedule, with 40 hours a week from Monday to Friday (Friday afternoons free all year round) and intensive working hours of 35 hours a week in summer.
