Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: On-site | San Fernando, Pampanga

We are seeking a Payroll Administrator who will assist the Finance team to ensure the efficient operation of processing payroll and accounts receivable. Duties related to payroll operations include maintaining payroll records, calculating employee pay, and assisting with payroll processing in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws.

Position Responsibilities

  1. Confirm all new-hire information is in the system and resolve any outstanding issues (verification documents) promptly.
  2. Establish and set up tax information in new states, resolving any outstanding issues with current states.
  3. Verify that approvals for all increases and promotions are received on time.
  4. Confirm individuals are set up in the correct earning and deduction groups.
  5. Make all changes in HRIS system.
  6. Process off-cycle payrolls for any items that were missed during the regularly scheduled payrolls.
  7. Research any employee issues concerning missing pay.
  8. Verify that all clients are in the system and all employees are assigned to the correct client.
  9. Confirm approval of timecards and track down missing punches to pull in time for payroll.
  10. Handle all leave requests and ensure we have the proper documentation to grant or deny leave.

  1. 3+ years previous payroll processing experience.
  2. Knowledge of Federal and State tax laws.
  3. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  4. Knowledge of payroll processes: garnishments, benefit deductions, taxes, FMLA experience, Work Comp experience, LOA experience.
  5. Must be detail-oriented.
  6. Possess strong time management skills.

Physical Requirements

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.
