Your role

As a Mechanical Engineer you will conduct product development activities and studies, execute and analyze tests, and produce parts, designs, or sketches, following all appropriate Mechanical Engineering design, safety, and qualification standards.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Participating in product development activities including engineering studies, feasibility studies, cost estimates, implementation of standard and non-standard specifications, drawing board layout and interpretation, and development of performance or maintenance requirements.
  2. Following all appropriate design, safety, and qualification standards in development programs.
  3. Working toward commonality and optimization of product & components to reduce design errors and escapes.
  4. Testing models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess operating condition effects.
  5. Producing parts, specifications, designs, or sketches for machines, components, systems or work orders / purchase requests.
  6. Bill of material creation.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

  • Degree or technical knowledge in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering
  • 2 to 5 years' experience in Design/Product Engineering departments
  • Knowledge in 3D design programs (CREO Parametric, Catia, SolidWorks, SolidEdge…)
  • English and Spanish fluency, B2 level minimum
  • Valid EU work permit

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Work experience in multinational industrial environment
  • Certified knowledge in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Systems
  • Working knowledge of French
