Marketing Intern

Footwearology is an international innovation platform for the footwear industry. We envision a future where shoes are designed for multiple lifecycles, manufactured and sold on demand. Our goal is to establish transparent, automated, local-for-local manufacturing and distribution systems that provide customization and responsible end-of-life options.

Our mission is to empower professionals who have the opportunity to revolutionize the footwear industry today. We provide them with the essential knowledge, tools, and connections through our dedicated R&D, consulting, training, and networking services.

To help us reach an even bigger audience, we are looking for a new marketing intern to join our dynamic international team in Barcelona in September for a period of 4-6 months.

You will be working directly with our marketing director on several marketing activities, such as:

• Creating social media content for Instagram and LinkedIn
• Promoting/organizing our annual Footwearise event in Barcelona, which will take place in December during your internship
• Restructuring our website
• Setting up automated marketing for our online footwear academy

We are looking for someone who knows their way around content creation software, from Photoshop to Figma and Premiere, and also has a keen interest in the business and data side of things, working with Google Analytics, for instance. Since we work globally, we require you to speak English at a professional level. Any other language is an asset. You do not need to speak Spanish, but it is definitely helpful if you do.

We also require you to still be in school. This is a paid internship where you will learn a lot, but not a job. In order to create your internship contract, we need you to be registered at a university or polytechnic! Ideally, you follow a study in the direction of visual marketing or digital marketing.

If you have affinity with shoes or sneakers, that would be awesome, but if not, you certainly will be a footwear addict once you leave here. :)
