Eaton is currently looking for a Learning Management Consultant. This role is a temporary position for 18 months.

What you’ll do : The Learning Management Consultant (LMC) is responsible for researching, supporting the writing and development of, and maintaining the Marketing curriculum for Eaton. This role will work closely with the Marketing leadership team to identify learning gaps within the existing curriculum map and provide training recommendations. The Learning Management Consultant will work with an Instructional Designer to build new training and update existing training in the Marketing curriculum. The role will be responsible for aligning the curriculum map with identified skills and competencies for designated roles across the Marketing function. The LMC will ensure that projects are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and satisfy the objective and measures of success.

Manages the design and development of Marketing training deliverables such as instructor-led, e-learning courses (micro-learning, videos etc.,), and corresponding outlines, course design documents, storyboards, and assessments. Designs, develops, and maintains the curriculum for the Marketing function at Eaton using supporting competency models and skilled framework. Utilizes industry best practices and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the training and achievement of the desired outcomes/objectives. Tracks and communicates project status, milestones, risks, and roadblocks to appropriate stakeholders.

Qualifications : Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, Education, Business, Instructional Design 5-7 year of curriculum managmenent experience, in addition to experience working in Marketing

Skills :

  • Curriculum Development
  • Instructional Design and adult learning theory skills
  • Familiarity with processes related to the selection, design, and development of learning solutions (eLearning, face-to-face instructor led training, virtual instructor led training, video and tools to improve performance).
  • Experience working with the SAM development model for training deliverables

Strong communication skills in the English language (written and spoken)
