Trade Marketing Manager - Barcelona

Job Mission: Want to see your vision have an impact? As a Trade Marketing Manager with Reckitt, you'll have the freedom to own the strategy and see the results in stores around the world. The Trade Marketing Manager plays a key role within the country sales team, driving excellence in store (4P) execution across key customers/key accounts. The role will also focus on building expert knowledge in our key categories and sharing this with the customers in order to build long term partnerships and increase profit and sales. Leads within the country the development and implementation of category management strategies. This will focus on increasing Reckitt's in-store presence in our categories, strengthening our brands, optimizing product assortment, and promotional strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develops country/customer 4P strategy and tactics in line with respective sales and marketing directors and building on global 4P strategy.
  2. Develops local category growth strategy and ensures brand strategy connects with it.
  3. Defines category trade marketing KPIs.
  4. Contributes to category marketing plans, with customers & category analysis and promotional strategy.
  5. Continuous analysis of the competitive and customer's position in the country, works together with the sales director to develop long-term trade marketing actions and strategy aimed at strengthening RB's position in each of our categories.
  6. Develops and implements RB promotional strategy (in line with brand priorities and media plans) across customers.
  7. Presenting Category strategies/vision and 4P strategy to our customers.
  8. Key contact for the Marketing Director and Brand Marketing team regarding all promotional and customer activity.

US Additional Requirements:

  1. The business language in Reckitt is English; therefore, fluency in this language is essential. Fluency in other languages is advantageous.
  2. Minimum 4 years FMCG experience in Sales/Trade Marketing/Marketing and Key Account Management.
  3. This Role Profile must be read in conjunction with the relevant competency profile on The Biz.
  4. Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating.
  5. Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles.
  6. Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing customers and internal teams.
  7. Strong commercial understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues.
  8. Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategies, tactics, and measurable implementation.
  9. Ability to think outside the box.
