VHIR offers a vacant position for a Laboratory Technician within the Rheumatology Research Group - IMID-Biobank.

• Required: FP2 Laboratory technician or equivalent

• Required: Experience in biobanking and molecular biology
• Experience with automated laboratory equipment
• Experience in Quality Management Systems
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Access)
• Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, and English (written and spoken)

• Handling, processing, and storage of biological samples and associated data
• Maintenance of laboratory paper and electronic registries
• Maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Stock control of consumables and reagents
• Experimental support to investigators

• Part-time position: 20h/week. Afternoon shift (16:30h - 20:00h)
• Starting date: Immediately
• Gross annual salary: 10,000 - 12,250 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
• Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
