Job Description : The Opportunity We, at Flywire, are seeking a Senior Manager of the People Team to foster a strong and effective People Operations team by leading and managing members, building operational excellence capabilities, and developing and enabling members to contribute effectively towards People Team and organizational goals. The Senior Manager, People Operations drives the implementation and global coordination of Flywire’s People Team programs & processes in accordance with Flywire’s values and the People Team’s vision and operating model as well as Flywire’s Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity ideals. In doing so,The Senior Manager, People Operations will:- Drive cross-functional, global collaboration and delivering on all People Operations goals, processes & programs in consideration of Flywire values/cultural norms, company practices & policies, applicable regulatory statutes, market practices and compliance requirements throughout the entire employee life-cycle- Advise and manage sensitive employee relations information/ cases in collaboration with the Global People Partner team, legal, and external stakeholders in a confidential, documented and effective manner- Regularly collaborate and maintain cooperative relationships with the People Team’s Centers of Expertise (COEs) including Talent Acquisition, Experience, Total Rewards, L&D as well as cross-functional collaboration with global People Team partners (i.E., payroll, IT, Legal, Finance, Marketing, etc.) Being actively involved in decision making and strategy to respond to different People Team needs- Lead and support the full implementation and timely execution of Flywire’s annual and mid-year people processes & programs such as employee surveys, performance management, promotion and compensation cycles- Set, create and propose strategic projects that will allow to improve results and deliver best in class experiences within the company- Act as a People Team point of collaboration to ensure the right internal/ external stakeholders & partners are engaged in a timely manner to ensure the efficient execution of all people processes & programs while supporting FlyMates, people managers, and the global People Team- Be responsible for ensuring all people process and programs are performed in a timely and compliant manner to offer exceptional end-to-end FlyMate experiences while meeting the Flywire’s compliance requirements.- Effectively use data to communicate, propose changes, & present opportunities & risks to Flywire’s People Team processes & programs- Accurately and timely report People Team status updates and key performance indicators (KPIs) as directed and propose updates and deeper analysis where required to provide added value data to the team and the business Qualifications : Here’s What We’re Looking For :- Bachelor's Degree, MBA/Master’s degree or SPHR/GPHR certification preferred- At least 8 years of experience in Global People Operations and People Management- Strong experience with employment law in the EMEA region- Strong “people-first” cross-functional employee and internal/external stakeholder service orientation- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex services, in a high volume, scaled environment, in accordance with documented processes and policies- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy; ability to do root cause analysis, use data, or if neither exist, use judgment and experience, to guide decisions and action plans- Significant project management experience related to implementation of new, complex programs, systems and/or processes- Passion for leading, developing and motivating frontline operations teams across geographie
