Junior Project Manager

As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning and overseeing boat projects, ensuring impeccable quality, adherence to schedules, and budget management.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate in the development of project documents and templates.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality and project standards.
• Monitor project phases to ensure they are executed on time, within budget, and meet the client's approved quality standards.
• Provide support to the Senior Project Manager in coordinating and supervising project tasks.
• Act as a liaison with the client's representative during the ship's stay at the shipyard.
• Organize and supervise work across different departments.
• Manage internal project documentation and schedules.
• Execute reporting activities for your project portfolio and team as directed.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, consistently delivering excellent results.
• Adhere to company rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, upholding professional work standards.
• Perform other reasonable duties within the scope of this role, as required by operations management.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Pragmatic with the ability to establish clear priorities while respecting project schedules.
• Results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong internal customer orientation.

SOFTWARE SKILLS

• Proficiency in ERP business management software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with design and project management software, such as SolidWorks, SolidEdge, AutoCAD, Asana, SmartSheet, Monday, or similar tools.

LANGUAGES
Fluent in Spanish, with a high level of proficiency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

TRAINING

• Background in Naval Engineering, Technical Naval Engineering, or an equivalent University Degree.
• Additional training in Project Management will be considered an asset.

CONTRACT TYPE & SALARY

• Permanent contract.
• Full-time position.
• Competitive salary package, including 30 days of paid vacation.
