Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the design team in various tasks related to plastic parts development
- Attend internal meetings related to bumpers development, prepare meeting agendas, and document meeting
- Generate PDM sheets, and coordinate and maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) with the department
- Create and maintain projects, lead activities related to the customer design checklist, and prepare modification sheets
- Prepare presentations for different internal meetings, including the submission of approval documents and inspection reports
- Prepare type approval documentation and develop recycling and recovery concepts and documentation
- Create and maintain project 2D drawings, homologation drawings, and detailed exploded drawings of bumper components with all fasteners for integration with the body
- Maintain project part history documentation and support in the assembly of bumper parts for development activities, including validation tests and cubings
- Support bumper fine-tuning activities by analyzing and documenting mock-ups, preparing documentation for scopa changes, and updating 3D and 2D linked to fine-tuning activities
What we are looking for:
- You have a a year of relevant professional or studies experience
- You can be on-site at the location in Sant Andreu de la Barca, Catalonia, Spain
- You are proficient or willing to learn Catia V5, with a focus on plastic parts development
- You have excellent communication skills in Spanish and English to effectively collaborate with team members and attend internal meetings
- You are or want to become a junior-level CAD designer with a keen interest in the automotive industry and a desire to contribute to the development of high-quality products
