Job Purpose: As the Cloud Marketplace Activation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in onboarding and supporting software vendors to establish their presence on the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace. You will be responsible for guiding vendors through the setup process, ensuring compliance with marketplace requirements, and driving adoption of best practices. Additionally, you will lead internal enablement and training initiatives to equip colleagues across local entities with the necessary knowledge and skills to support marketplace activities effectively. You will also liaise with the Microsoft marketplace team to coordinate joint go-to-market activities, stay up to date with Microsoft programs and changes in marketplace policies, and serve as the internal go-to-person for operational support on Microsoft marketplace onboarding tasks, including SaaSOps, SaaS LCM, and private offer management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Microsoft Marketplace Vendor Onboarding and Channel Enablement: Collaborate with software vendors to navigate the onboarding process for the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace, including account setup, product listing creation, and validation of technical and business requirements. Provide guidance and enablement to vendors not familiar with the two-tier distribution model, assisting them in understanding the nuances of channel strategy implementation and optimizing their approach for marketplace success.
  2. Compliance Management and Integration Support: Ensure vendors adhere to Microsoft's guidelines and policies for listing and selling software on the marketplace, providing guidance on licensing, pricing, and security standards. Connect vendors with relevant internal and Microsoft teams to provide technical assistance to vendors in resolving platform-related issues, troubleshooting integration challenges, and optimizing product listings for maximum visibility and performance.
  3. Microsoft Marketplace Desk: Serve as the internal go-to-person for operational support on Microsoft marketplace onboarding tasks, including SaaSOps, SaaS LCM, and private offer management. Assist colleagues with inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and facilitating smooth processes.
  4. Internal Enablement: Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and resources to educate internal stakeholders across local entities on the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace, enabling them to provide effective support to vendors and drive revenue growth.
