This role requires frequent interaction with top level decision-making officers: Group level, Country MDs, and Heads of relevant departments. Externally, the role will require to interact successfully with Clients, local communities and authorities, central government and regulators, and energy-related companies (manufacturers, distributors, contractors, etc.).

This is a strategic role with eventual P&L responsibility of a large business unit, set to grow immensely based on the market opportunities and stable financial conditions of the Company.

Mission and Main Scope of the Role :

  • Overall, to be the driving force behind the Energy Business line in various jurisdictions around Europe (both CEE and Western Europe). The Energy Business is expected to grow exponentially under the right supervision and leadership.
  • As the leader of our Energy Business line, you will have the opportunity to oversee a diverse range of projects, including solar and wind, and make a significant impact in both CEE and Western European jurisdictions.
  • With the responsibility of owning the annual budget and planning cycle, you will set ambitious targets and ensure their successful execution.
  • You will drive the growth of our renewable energy capacity by implementing cutting-edge technologies and establishing a strong legal framework for every market and for the whole Group.
  • In this role, you will have the chance to bring your ideas to life as you deliver on target MWh capacity, manage the pipeline realization of Energy projects, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • You will also play a key role in delivering on business case targets for energy sales and supporting Group and Country Management teams to achieve higher standards of construction with value-engineered investment budgets, as well as to implement troubleshooting solutions and using best practices.
  • By developing and maintaining a network of key stakeholders, you will have the opportunity to stay ahead of the curve in the industry.
  • You will also have the chance to track energy consumption in detail and analyze production, consumption, and sales data to make informed decisions.

Requirements :

  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in the Energy industry, including a deep understanding of the latest technologies and trends.
  • Good understanding of energy legislation processes in CEE countries, as well as a strong network of relevant stakeholders.
  • Proven success in implementing effective selling strategies, including pricing policies and grid sales.
  • Outstanding negotiation and relationship-building skills, including experience working with local authorities, country managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience in the deployment of solar and wind energy systems, ideally a good understanding of BESS solutions.
  • Fluency in Business English.
