Role: Hospitality Asset Manager

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Palma

Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Performance and Analysis:
    • Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting on property performance.
    • Monitor revenue streams, operating expenses, and profitability.
    • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
    • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and revenue enhancement strategies.
  2. Operational Oversight:
    • Collaborate with hotel management teams to ensure optimal property performance.
    • Review and approve capital expenditure projects.
    • Monitor compliance with brand standards, legal regulations, and safety protocols.
    • Conduct property visits and inspections to ensure high standards of maintenance and operations.
  3. Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximize property value.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
    • Assist in the acquisition, disposition, and refinancing of properties.
    • Analyze market conditions and recommend strategic decisions related to asset portfolio.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Liaise with property owners, investors, and financial institutions.
    • Prepare and present detailed reports and performance updates to stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with legal, accounting, and other professional services as needed.
    • Foster strong relationships with brand representatives and franchise partners.
  5. Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure properties comply with insurance requirements and manage claims as necessary.
    • Oversee risk management policies and procedures across the portfolio.
Profile:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Real Estate, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  2. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience, desirable in asset management, real estate, or hospitality industry.
  4. Strong financial acumen with experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  5. Excellent understanding of hotel operations and revenue management.
  6. Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, property management software).
  7. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. International Mobility (EMEA) and ability to travel frequently for property visits and stakeholder meetings.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Experience with hotel brand management and franchising.
  2. Knowledge of real estate market trends and economic factors affecting the hospitality industry.
  3. Proficiency in property management systems and software (e.g., Opera, Delphi).
  4. Proficiency in English and desirable Spanish.
