Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for leading the advancement of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pillar in the LEAN playbook by working with the sites to implement autonomous maintenance, optimize planned and predictive maintenance activities, and facilitate focused improvement workshops across the site.
  • Develop and deliver total productive maintenance training and workshops to establish effective maintenance reliability practices at the manufacturing sites.
  • Serve as the global administrator of the CMMS ensuring proper implementation and use of the system to manage maintenance practices including work orders, assets, scheduled maintenance, task groups, spare parts, inventory control, and purchasing.
  • Conducts motion and time studies to identify opportunities and offer solutions that improve worker safety, ergonomics and optimize manufacturing throughput.
  • Identifies process constraints and develops solutions to eliminate waste, simplify processes and reduce operating cost.
  • Ensure continuous cycle of capability development at all levels of the organization by delivering a training plan in alignment to GPS standard body of knowledge.
  • Drives problem solving capability in supply chain through training and coaching of root cause failure analysis tools.
  • Develops and maintains global Lean/GPS training calendar.
  • Manages and maintains the reporting of Global Metrics, KPI’s, and Scorecards for the Manufacturing Plants.
  • Facilitates lean assessments to identify system gaps, and then works with local site leadership to develop plans to address the opportunities to improve maturity.
  • Train teams on the use of project tracking tool for financial benefit reporting.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 6+ years’ experience in continuous improvement (lean manufacturing) function and the food industry.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or accredited TPM/Reliability certification a plus.
  • TPM and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Experience implementing and managing computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Background in engineering and manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze processes and material flow, understand financial impact and embed continuous improvement culture.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with diverse groups of individuals and different levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Minitab statistical software a plus.
  • Must be able to travel 30%.
