Description: The Director, Global Supply Chain Systems & Data will be responsible for enhancing global supply chain system capabilities while driving standardized and simplified supply chain solutions through the partnership with business unit supply chain teams, IT, leadership, and others. The role will lead a global team to enhance supply chain performance visibility for key stakeholders by implementing standard global KPIs, analytics, and dashboards, driving improvement actions across the business. A key aspect of the role is to refine supply chain master data integrity and implement controls to ensure data accuracy. The Director will report to the VP of Strategic Supply and be based in Basel or Asturias in Europe; Glen Mills, PA or Troy, MI in the USA.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a global team to maintain and enhance a supply chain best practices maturity model, supporting sites and supply chains in deploying advanced system functionality.
  2. Strategically establish processes, in partnership with key stakeholders, to collect, evaluate, and prioritize system improvements and business initiatives that require system support, ensuring governance over standard global processes.
  3. Collaborate with IT and local business teams to drive the execution of strategic system improvements and business initiatives.
  4. Advise on the implementation of new operations and supply chain systems into new regions and businesses of the organization including the continued deployment of S4 / Hana outside of North America.
  5. Develop and implement systems to monitor process health and best practice conformance, identifying improvement activities and highlighting potential risks to inform strategic decisions.
  6. Oversee the collection, evaluation, and prioritization of analytics and dashboard requests from business teams, ensuring alignment with key metrics and standardization.
  7. Partner with IT and local business teams to implement standard global KPI reports, centrally calculating metrics using global definitions and providing visibility into insights to drive strategic improvement actions.
  8. Lead the development of capability in super users by maintaining a library of training documents and best practices, championing training, and engaging the SME network for continuous learning and strategic development.
  9. Establish and oversee comprehensive training documentation and programs to ensure consistent knowledge transfer and skill development across the organization.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or a related field; master's degree and/or certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) preferred.
  2. 10 years of experience in a combination of supply chain and operations roles in manufacturing.
  3. Strong skillset in project management skills, process ownership, and people leadership.
  4. Proven experience with global Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as SAP S4 HANA.
