About the job

We have established an in-house architectural department to manage high complexity in designing Swarovski store layouts and to create a unique store experience for our customers. The purpose of the job is to ensure premium customer experience in their Points of Purchase (POPs) via excellent shop design for different Swarovski brands. The Interior Designer – Store Planner aims to produce efficient POP-planning following the Swarovski planning standards for Swarovski brands globally, in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and for Swarovski Travel Retail.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Creating store design layouts and 3D visualizations for Swarovski Stores worldwide in consideration of store design guidelines.
  2. Briefing/alignment of individual store design plans with the local Architecture Project Manager (PM).
  3. Creating wall, ceiling, flooring, and electrical plans, elevations, sections, and façade design for different store concepts and POS.
  4. Working with CAD furniture and blocks in 2D and 3D presentation mode.
  5. Coordinating projects in collaboration with the Architecture Project Manager (PM), internal and external Architecture teams, Design team, and Engineering team.
  6. Being a contact person for technical requests and all kinds of project-related issues.
  7. Supporting the Head of Retail Architecture Interior Design and the team in various projects.
About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

  1. University degree in Architecture or Interior Design or equivalent.
  2. Min 3-5 years of professional technical knowledge on the job and experience in a similar role within an international setting.
  3. Experience in store planning.
  4. Substantiated computer skills in CAD, 3D-Visualization, MS-Access.
  5. Understanding of the retail business.
  6. Demonstrated Project Management skills on a global level in international companies.
  7. Excellent English language skills; German and Spanish knowledge will be an advantage, any other language will be considered as a plus.
  8. Proven examples of creativity for designing store layouts, organizational and analytical skills, being detail-oriented and precise.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work either individually and in a team.
