Job Description

Scope of Position: Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the Air Department.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
  3. Track and trace Air Import files as required.
  4. Use Workflows on a daily basis.
  5. Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers for Import shipments.
  6. Ensure documents are timely sent to customer or broker for customs purposes.
  7. Ensure accurate and timely client and Service Providers billing.
  8. Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards.
  9. Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with suppliers (airlines, trucking companies, and others).
  10. Meet compliance at all times to regulations, including internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer's policies/requirements.
  11. Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency.
  12. Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are followed and updated.
  13. Meet KPI standards, as per the company procedures.
  14. Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external).

Qualifications:

  1. 2 years related experience and/or practices; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Understanding of air documentation process a plus.
  3. Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
  4. Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
  5. Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  6. IATA certification (preferred).
  7. Fluent in English (it will be tested).
