Our clients are industries where their heat is needed in the production processes. About the role: Embark on a key position as a Senior Project Controller at Kyoto, situated in Seville, Spain. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with supervising and enhancing the financial facets of our project executions, with a specialised emphasis on Heatcube installations. Your contribution is vital in maintaining financial precision, upholding budgetary constraints, and aligning project execution seamlessly with contractual agreements. The position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) but will have a very close collaboration with the project execution organisation, fostering seamless communication and alignment between financial strategies and project objectives. Responsibilities: Cost Management: Develop, implement, and maintain a robust structure for tracking project execution costs. Monitor project costs against approved budgets and client contracts, analysing variances. Challenge project execution teams to adhere to budgetary constraints and avoid overruns. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for the steering committee and project execution committee. Provide regular updates on cost variances, project financial health, and potential risks. Estimate Reporting: Oversee estimate reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives. Collaborate with project teams to develop reliable cost estimates for future projects. Master Data Structure: Establish and maintain a comprehensive master data structure for project financials. Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial data across all project-related activities. ERP Knowledge: Utilise ERP knowledge to streamline financial processes and integrate project financial data seamlessly. Collaborate with IT teams to enhance system functionalities for improved financial control. Financial Controlling for Kyoto's Spanish legal entity: Manage finance controlling responsibilities for the Spanish legal entity. Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and reporting requirements. Support and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project execution teams, providing financial guidance and support. Offer insights to enhance project financial efficiency and effectiveness. Required skills & experiences: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field. Proven track record in project controlling, preferably in EPC/construction contracting. Experience with contract management from the financial perspective is an advantage. Background in a medium to large size international company. Experience with Power BI and similar digital tools for visualisation of cost management and estimate reporting. Strong ERP knowledge, with experience utilising ERP systems for financial management. Solid accounting experience, including cost analysis and financial reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Eligible to work in Seville, Spain. Who are you? Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
