Field Test Engineer - [QNL-974]

Position Summary

As a Field Test Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

1. Quality assurance "end user" testing on live networks.
2. Field tests Engineer, such as radio/audio performance tests and software verification on mobile devices (including GSM, GPRS, UMTS, LTE, IMS, 5G testing, and Mobile Intelligent terminals, smartphones, tablets, and laptops) and accessories (e.g., headset, hands-free, GPS, wearable devices).
3. Interoperability testing with network operators and SIM Card manufacturers.
4. Provide informed feedback on interface usability and phone design concept.
5. Work closely with QA and R&D Engineers in the UK, Poland, India, Vietnam & Korea to:

• Discuss and provide information about defects and other issues that arise as a part of testing.
• Interpret technical reports.
• Analyze network logs.
• Consider possible impact on market.
• Manage test project schedule.
• Contribute to regular progress and final project reports.
• Keep abreast of new features and techniques of mobile devices and networks.
• Be capacitated or qualified for business trips to Korea, Europe, or all around the world.
• Create test cases based on local test environment.
• Validate Voice-activated Artificial Intelligence features.
• Automation.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Fluent written and spoken English & native Spanish Language.

4. A good level of presentation, communication, and planning skills.
5. Approachable, flexible, team-oriented, and self-assertive where required.
6. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
7. Strong PC skills (especially MS Office Excel).

A good understanding of documentation requirements.

Excellent knowledge in GSM-UMTS-LTE-5G Networks and applications infrastructure (recommended, not mandatory).

Engineering background in telecommunications field will be an advantage.

Strong log analytical skills (recommended, not mandatory).

Python language for automation (recommended, not mandatory).

Skills and Qualifications

1. Previous experience in mobile field testing and experience in IMS testing such as RCS, VoLTE, and 5G are preferred.
2. Experience with European telecom operators is preferred.
