An Over-the-Phone Interpreter (OPI) / Video Remote Interpreter (VRI) in Future Group Translation and Localization Services provides accurate communication between non-English and English speakers during calls. They carry out exclusive service in different fields and industries and assure transparency during the conversation.

Interpreters in Future Group Translation and Localization Services are linguistic experts, fast workers when it comes to the information mentioned during the call, and renowned for their high level of tolerance, accuracy, and expertise.

1. Answer calls in a professional manner, acting according to the Interpreter's code of conduct.
2. Be always prepared to take notes during a call.
3. Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical one, specifically).
4. Render all messages accurately and completely, without adding, omitting, or substituting.
5. Provide the highest level of customer service during interpreting.
6. Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by rendering accurate and complete interpretation of the message.
7. Apply standards of practice.
8. Engage in internal professional training.
9. Be eager to obtain new professional certifications.
10. Communicate and report to your team leader.
11. Comply with dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

1. Fluent in source language (English) and native in target language (Spanish).
2. 1+ years of over-the-telephone interpretation experience in a well-known interpretation company.
3. Good knowledge of medical terminology.
4. Awareness of legal terminology is a plus.
5. International certifications in the healthcare industry are a plus (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).
6. High school diploma in your native language.
7. High emotional intelligence and tolerance to different cultures.
8. High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
