EHS TECHNICIAN JOB ADVERTISEMENT

Mission: Collaborate in the development of the company’s EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and Sustainability activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Prevention Service to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
2. Propose, prepare and review reports and procedures (through document management software).
3. Collect data for sustainability metrics and KPIs and propose improvements to working and environmental conditions.
4. Collaborate in the legal compliance with the Prevention, Environmental and Sustainability Standards, as well as in the commitments acquired by the company.
5. Use online data reporting platforms, programs and calculation tools.
6. Participate in the definition and delivery of internal training programs for the workforce.
7. Participate in customer meetings, audits, verifications and inspections.
8. Follow-up the evolution of metrics and KPIs.
9. Follow-up the compliance with the prescriptions established in the Environmental Authorization.
10. Change Control assessment (EHS).

Requirements:

1. Education: Industrial or Chemical Engineer preferred.
2. Languages: Spanish & high level of English (C1 or native), written and oral skills.
3. Master in Occupational risk Prevention (three technical specialities) will be considered.
4. Training in Sustainability (organisational carbon footprint, product, SBTi, CDP, EcoVadis, reporting, etc.) will be considered.
5. Advanced level of Office (especially Excel, for data analysis and management).
6. Ability of team working.
7. Good communication skills.

Desired experience: Minimum 3 years in EHS and/or Sustainability activities, in companies in the chemical-pharmaceutical sector.
