Position Overview

The role which is part of the Finance Plant Controlling & Costing COE and will coordinate all the AC plant controllers in the EMEA region. The job has a very strong team management component as well as partnering with AC Supply Finance Director and plant managers in AC business. As part of the role is critical to have good analysis and consolidation abilities, as well as strong communication skills

Reporting to :Financial Director, Manufacturing & Supply Chain EMEA and functionally to AC Supply Finance Director

Performance Objectives & Major Deliverables

EMEA MANUFACTURING & LOGISTICS ANALYST

  • Manage month end closing process for AC plants
  • Forecast: Consolidation (clustering), analysis and follow up on accuracy
  • Coordination & review of the manufacturing/logistics budget process
  • Oversight of local Capex and engage projects and their savings calculations
  • Volumes review and cost actions to mitigate Labor & Expense variances in the plants
  • Understanding and explanation of consolidated manufacturing variances (Production Order variances, AMU, SSPL )
  • Report on consolidated KPI reports (costs, FTE, lines/picks, batches)

BUSINESS PARTNER - PLANT CONTROLLING

  • Member of Supply Finance team (Dotted line into Supply Finance Director)
  • Collation of weekly comments on financial deviation vs plan/forecast
  • Voice of the Customer - understand the specific needs and cascade down to plant controllers
  • Develop PowerBI - Heartbeat in line with customer needs
  • Liaise between COE Rubi/GBFS and Production/logistics business partner (fi obsoletes)

TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Directly supervise a team between 10 to 15 people (50% of the time)
  • Support all members of the team (either directly or by creating a network of plant controllers that support each other in case of troubles). This requires some degree of knowledge of the tools
  • Promote the necessary tools to a single reporting, forecasting & planning process in the SBU and xSBU. One PPG approach.
  • Review of criteria used (Variable or Period ) to standardize and compare plants between them
  • Standardise, harmonise workmethods, reporting.
  • Promote Internal trainings on tools within the team (HFM, Access, Batch variance model )
  • Promote Internal trainings on concepts (SVC, batch variances )

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics
  • 5- work experience in Finance Manufacturing
  • Proven leadership & team player
  • Experience with ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and management information systems
  • Personal strengths include reliability, receptiveness to change, strong analytical and communication skills
  • Strong compliance focus
  • Advanced English skills in speaking and writing
  • Travel 20% of time
  • Preferably work office in an AC manufacturing plant
