The Director Group Reporting is instrumental in improving the quality of the Group's consolidated financial reporting. The Director Group Reporting is responsible for the monthly and annual consolidated group reporting in accordance with IFRS/SGAAP and for the maintenance of the consolidation and reporting tools, ensuring they are aligned to the requirements of the business. He is also crucial in providing financial guidance on complex accounting issues, such as acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, hyperinflation, and dealing with external auditors to support the company position.


Additional responsibilities include participation in key projects, such as:

  • New fiscal reporting requirements
  • M&A integrations
  • New IFRS requirements interpretation and implementation

Leading and coaching a team of two reporting and consolidation professionals, ensuring development opportunities and engagement.


His/her functions would be:

  • Policies. Define, develop, initiate, maintain and revise Group Financial and reporting policies. Implement financial policies and initiate training to the business. Provide advice on complex accounting topics.
  • Reporting. Work with the VP Finance Controlling and Directors Finance of the sub-regions to prepare consolidated reports for the senior leadership team and for the Board (Board Package). External reporting according to IFRS rules.
  • Compliance and audit. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial reporting requirements. Monitor IFRS/SGAAP compliance. Key point of contact for Primary External auditor team for interim and year-end audit.
  • People Management. Attract, lead, coach, appraise and develop the functional team, ensuring staffing, and stimulating talent management (workforce & succession planning, performance management, etc.) through full reporting lines. Create and maintain a good work climate, stimulate empowerment, engagement, and cooperation, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion, employee well-being and continuous improvement.
    • Manage, coordinate, coach and develop the Finance function in Europe.
    • Line manager (full reporting line) for the team.
    • Foster well-trained and motivated staff.
    • Ensure the development of organizational capability in the team.
  • Project Management. Be the first point of contact for tax and treasury functions to support with IFRS expertise for new requirements.
