Cloud Solutions Specialist / Cloud Sales Engineer

In this customer-and partner-facing role, you will leverage your deep knowledge of one of the world's leading cloud platforms to secure new customer wins, collaborate with internal teams, and deliver cutting-edge cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Cloud Sales : Lead customer conversations to secure new cloud business, maximizing up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with the support of Sales Agents and Partner Connection Managers.

• Present Value Propositions : Deliver compelling presentations on cloud platform solutions, aligning value propositions with customer business objectives and IT initiatives.

• Technical Expertise : Provide detailed technical insights and product overviews, tailoring them to customer needs and use cases.

• Accelerate Customer Success : Apply your growing technical acumen to develop innovative ideas that enhance customer outcomes in the cloud.

• Competitive Positioning : Highlight the competitive advantages of the cloud platform and position it effectively to address customer needs.

• Solution Demonstration : Demonstrate the technical and business benefits of cloud solutions via virtual meetings.

• Feasibility Assessments : Quickly assess the technical feasibility of customer solutions and assist in proposal development.

• Customer Support : Act as a primary technical contact for the tele-sales team, assisting with customer inquiries and cloud deployment planning.

• Train and Educate : Conduct training sessions (one-on-one and group) to share your expertise with colleagues and customers alike.

• Meet Targets : Drive business success by achieving team-level targets for net-new revenue, sales pipeline, and operational metrics.

• Continuous Learning : Stay ahead of industry trends by constantly researching the latest developments in cloud computing, both for the platform and competitors.

Requirements:

• Languages: Dutch and English fluency is required, at least C1 Dutch and B2 English.

• Experience: 3-6+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or pre-sales experience, with a track record of driving cloud-based solutions.

• Technical Knowledge: Broad knowledge of end-user scenarios and technical architectures related to cloud productivity and communication solutions. Understanding of identity, authentication, security, and privacy is preferred.

• Cloud Expertise: Experience in cloud-based productivity, collaboration, and communication solutions, with a solid understanding of deployment planning and cloud adoption strategies.

• Certifications: Minimum cloud fundamentals certification upon entering the role, with advanced certifications (like L200) preferred.

• Education: Bachelor's degree required, with a major/minor in computer science, mathematics, or engineering preferred. Master's degree is a bonus.

• Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
