About the role
We are looking for a technical writer to join the Product Success team. In this role, you will be a pioneer as you will be the first-ever technical writer in FREE NOW. You'll write clear and concise technical documentation, help manage internal social networks and provide publications suitable for any type of audience. We want your words to engage users and be an inspiration about the technical value of the products offered in FREE NOW.
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have an in-depth understanding of how different products work, a fundamental understanding of product and technology processes, a background in creating technical documentation, a proactive approach to your work and excellent communication skills.
Your Responsibilities
- You will help build, design and be the voice of the Product by creating engaging content to guide and educate internal users within FREE NOW.
- You will be responsible for managing documentation to ensure that everyone is equipped with the knowledge and information they need to do their work.
- You will be responsible for delivering content in various channels to ensure that your message is far-reaching and impactful.
- You will shape product experiences, ensuring UX is always illustrated in the content created.
- Building structured documentation flows and libraries by mapping out user journeys, and facilitating user navigation with our products.
- Advocate for the internal stakeholders in all aspects of your work to ensure that their needs are protected.
Profile :
- You will have 3+ years of experience doing technical writing for software products.
- A shareable portfolio with previous writing samples
- An eye for detail and organisation, with proven experience in managing content.
- A voice that is human, personal, and matches our product brand.
- Ability to think like a customer and be invested in the customer's needs.
- A proactive mentality and a desire to make an impact.
- A strong team player with the ability to connect teams and people to the company vision.
